KOTOR II Swoop race Bug

Hi, I've got a bug which keep me from finishing ANY swoop race. Even if I do a perfect race, the guy always tell me "What a terrible accident. .... You can't finish a race" or whatever. Very anoying as I can't get an audiance with the General if I can't win that race.

Anyone have this problem so far (my friend and I got this bug) or anyone know how to get rid of it ?

at least u get to race!! as soon as the green light goes on, my racer goes to the top,, and wont land!!! means I cant use the boosters, and, in most cases, cant get to the end due to a wall!!!!

anyway, this section is about backups, and this isnt a backup issue.....contact lucasarts(as I am going to!!) or ask in general gaming

I have the "swoop bike flies too high" bug as well. One way to try to fix it is to crash onto something as soon as possible, sometimes this causes the swoop bike to return to ground level. Not always, though, and if you waste too much time trying to hit objects you can't win anyway. Still, it's worth a try. I managed to win 500 credits this way.

AH yes the bugs of KOTOR2. At least they're not gamestopping bugs (so far)

I have a different bug where if you cancel mid-race, you get stuck in this state of "You gotta finish the race, kid" whenever the guy talks after the race, even with loading a saved-game.
Also, if you break any records, he'll be like "Naah you didn't break any records"
Unless you break the 1st place record (assuming you didn't cancel :)) oh well... other than that and the OpenGL ATI bug, everything is cool.
