I see my little brother playing all the time. It is not a high budget company game, actually, it uses 8-bit images for detail. There is a free trial version (which lasts forever, but is limited in characters and maps), and one p2p version. I found out that you can submit maps and if they are good enough, you can exchange a larger map creation service for an account with unlimited play on the p2p version.
Anyways, It looks kind of odd and the gameplay is a little wierd, but it's loaded with cool features. So, anyone ever play it, and is it worth being a dedicated mmorpg for a while?

Are you new and want to try a MMORPG if so I can provide a little insight as i ahve played many of them. However as to the one your little brother plays on i have never herd of it but I would bet the person whom can give you the best insight on it is your little brother. Right now I am playing WOW and I find it to be the best game I have played in a long time.
for me, nothing can replace Ultima Online

Main reason for that was that it was released before it was finished, also its no where near eq. It will be finished through patching holds true to all MMO'S yet the graffix, theme, and time sink are no where near the awful monster that was eq. took hours to do anything in that game
chill man :P we all have our own tastes ;)
Luciel you got no taste man :p
wow rocks.nothing compares to wow
wow is the exact same theme as many others, same medieval like time, magic and bla bla bla, it might be good, but its certainly not original, and i like playing something original
