Xbox 1.6 and Alladdin XT: The End

Ok........We are done.......I mean...It still does not work.......4 chips....4 xbox 1.6's.....I think I am going to send it to Bill now....I mean...how hard is this suppose to be....We follow the diagrams to a TEE....The rebuilding of the points on the back.....The regualr soldering....We just can not get it...Is anyone else having any issues or success...In any case.....post some feedback.....

are the chips flashed with the latest cromwell or evox m8 cus it wont work if they arnt

sending in an xbox to ms that that has an expired or voided warrenty will cost you about $100+shipping. I do not recommend it at all.

As djgarf said, use the most rescent bios (released today). Current bios have memory problems with specific 1.6 xbox's. Mainly, those that have the cheap Hynix memory.

:) hehe.....I did mean not Bill Gates.....I meant that guy from Freedom Lives.com...His name is Bill. I did call Microsoft and tell them My chips would not work. They said they would send someone right over!!!! :)

Basically you are saying that we probably have the chip hooked up right....We just need to flash it. How can I flash the chip with the latest bios if I can not get it working? Is there a usb cable or something...Perhaps some software. Do we hook it up in another box and flash with the 1.6 bios..I thought that would mess up an earlier version.

Well, first, what is the exact problem? Is the xbox booting red/gree, orange/green, or just boots like normal?

Yeah....I called them and they said they do not support modchips...So I sent them a link to this site so hopefully thewy can help me out. Also wher ecan I download Halo 2? hehe just kidding guys.......I actually had to tell a buddy of mine not to send his xbox that i modded away to be fixed. He had a bad drive and he did not know that I could fix it. Anyway.......It boots up like a normal box. We used thicker wire for the jumpers underneath the board like it said. Still no luck.. I guess it is probably the flashing thing.

Any more insight is helpful.

hmm, if it boots up like normal, then the chip is not getting power. Bad chips frag the xbox. Which guide did you use for the 1.6? They need extra soldering points
