Ho can I know if a NTSC game swiches to 50 hz (i have a pal DC)? is there any program? if pal 2 ntsc patch doesn't find any patcheable area, does this means that maybe the game doesn't swicht to 50 hz? (like marvel vs capcom or Craxy taxi?)
Does Marvel vs Capcom 2 switch to 50 hz?

Depends on what version of the games your talking about, I have Marvel vs Cap2 (JAP) and it runs in 60hz from the outset, Crazy Taxi is 60hz by default as well. I don't have the first Marvel vs Cap to tell you whether it's 50 or 60, but I've found the japanese versions of all Capcoms 2d fighters I have (SNK vs Capcom, Street Fighter 3rd Strike, MvsC2) do not switch to 50hz. As I've said in an earlier post, you can tell 50hz by black borders at the top and bottom of the screen.
You can PAL fix most games by changing the following Hex.
Image the game to your HD first. I use Hiew hex editor but
most will do the job. Don’t ask me for a link because I can’t
remember where I downloaded it from :
In Hex Mode search for :
01 E4 03 A0 02 E4 01 A0 03
Change to :
00 E4 03 A0 00 E4 01 A0 00
Update and burn and that's it. Can take upto 5 minutes to find the Hex
code depending on your processor.
I PAL fixed Shenmue US and many others this way

as long as your machine runs at 50hz on default..its possible to make most games run in 50hz pal speed...but if your machine is a ntsc model...theres no stepping down!! pal games that arent optimized in 60hz such as Code Veronica will just flicker on normal tv(but you could use vga box)
