Hi Friends,
I was just cleaning the cabinet of my computer with "Vaccum Cleaner", after which i restarted my computer and i found my CPU fan is not running.I have cleaned my cabinet before also by which i did not have any problem. Can any body tell me why this must have happend and how can i repair it, or else do i need to buy a new Fan for my CPU. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance
*SLAPS* cleaning it with a vacum cleaner produces static electricity and therefor might damage ur computer... take a guess of what mightve happened.
Mmmmmm Interesting, I also use the vaccy to do my computer cleaning! But I dont actually let it touch the comp. I use a nice new clean paint brush to lift the dust then the vaccy pics it up. I use one of the fancy 'Dyson' brand vaccies and it really does suck! Suck the dust that is! :p
yeah but still it has the potential to damage it, what u guys should do to clean it is buy a can of compressed air.
Watch out with compressed air, alot of it has chemicals that cause major problems for some people (if nothing else carbon monoxide from gas compressors).
maybe its just the power connector of that fan that got loose?
yeah but theres compresed air cans specially made for pcs, and u can normally get em in any hardware shop.
