I have downloaded, check # files, burnt the .cdi file w/ DJ, have tried Igottas.. DJ settings and my DC will not recognize a damn thing. Heck I can't even burn a boot disk. Have tried both CloneCD and DJ versions of boot cd. I never get an error message while burning, and never any underrun. when I physically look at the disk it appears that the files are not all the way out to the edge of the CD. Although I have read that you do not need any dummys for the boot cd. Info - 9150, silent scope, prime 80 min cd-rw
Try the latest DJ3... It might correct your problem. And by the way what CDR brand do you use? I have a HP9100 and burn with SONYs, TDK, MAXELL XL PRO (80min) and have no problem. I used to use DJ2 but then with the latest releases I got Incorret parameter error messages... Now that I've switched to DJ3 everything is fine for me.
So go get DJ3 from PADUS web site and give it a try. And by the way there's a crack circulating on the web which cracks with no problem DJ2 and DJ3. At least it works perfect for me.
As for the boot disk... It's normal to see only a small portion of the cd that is written. After all the boot disk is only 1meg if I'm not wrong.
Dis you try to burn the NERO image of the boot disk?

Thanx for the replies guys! I do appreciate the advice. I am trying to burn w/ Prime Peripherals 80 min cd-rw. I have now tried burning boot disk w/ DJ 2.x, CloneCD, and Nero 5.x all unsuccessfully. When I installed Nero it warned me to remove Adaptec DirectCD, which I did not since I have never received any error messages w/ DJ or Clone. (thoughts on conflict?) Also when I tried to burn w/ Nero 5.x by double clicking on the .nrg file, it told me that session needed to be written as track at once and not DAO (not supported or unable to write) and that image most likely needed to be DAO. but i could continue anyway at my own risk. Thanx for your support :)
