View Full Version : Nero 6. mp3 to audio.
I hope this is the right thread, sorry if not. I have downloaded an album in mp3 format, all tracks play fine. When i use nero 6 to convert to audio files and then burn to cd, all goes well exept that the tracks are burnt in the wrong order. They still all play fine on a stand alone player. When i "add" the files top be burnt, they appear in the correct order but when the cd is burnt, they are all mixed up and have no track names. is there a way to burn them so that they will play in the correct order and have track names??? Is there better/easier software to do this other that nero???
Thanx.

Genarally cds are burnt alphabetically.
So rename your mp3s 01 02 so on to your
fav order then burn.

I have this problem all teh time there are two easy ways to overcome it
1. if the music is in a folder then they will always go in back to front, you can, once you drag the file and drop it, drag all the tracks to their correct position BEFORE burning.
2. If you open teh folder they are in then double click on each seperate track individually.
these two ways are rather annoying but to my knowledge putting them in alphabetical order wont make an ounce of difference, sorry.

Open this program and click to make a music CD. Add the tracks you want, and put them in the order you want, then burn. That simple! ;)
No alphabetical nothing, no renaming. Just burn in the order you add them. Note: If you place one out of order, click and drag it to the proper order you want. It is a nice program and I have also heard that the newest version is even better.

Well, I only knew the Roxio5, but I found that it does't "loves" Windows XP pro too much, or something. And it freezed while burning. It was really nerve-racking so I changed to Nero.
Is the Roxio6 better?
6 is much better than 5. Give it a whirl.
