I have read thru several forums and guides regarding backing up ps2 games. I'm trying to backup Shinobi. Most guides which are over 2yrs old say to use cdrwin but I tried that and it will not detect my dvd drive. I was finally able to make a bin image using MagicISO. I then tried applying the AddZer0 patch to the game but I get a couple of errors. 1 regarding bin2iso and the other is a runtime 53 error that closes AddZero. Are there any updated guides or other programs I should or could be using. I'm using Windows XP pro with an Iomega Super DVD Writer.I have jsut about every burning program out there. Thank you for your help ahead of time and If you need any more info just let me know. I'm also using the swap method with the gameshark 2 version 4 and the PS2 is version 7.

I use Alcohol 120%. It has an option on backing up ps2 games. You can also use Nero. I would recommend to not use the swap and get a mod chip. I have swap disks but they don't work on all the games. Also read the Ultimate Info Sticky. It has lots of useful information. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but the AddZero is when your making backups to cds instead of dvds (you have a dvd burner so it is not needed). Just make a 1:1 copy with one of these softwares.

Pipo, consider this a warning, if he wants Alcohol let him buy it like everybody else. Sending him the software is illegal!!
