I have been trying to backup my original copy of the NRL(rugby league game)
The problem is that the game gives a dirty disc error when you boot it up, the original plays fine.
Anyone have a suggestion other than using different media.
I haven't seen this game but I assume it is an EA title as most sports games in Oz are, yeah?
If you have a larger hard drive in your box I would recommend installing dvd2xbox v.5.8, installing the game to your hard drive with this program, ftp to your pc and copy the game files from the folder on your xbox hard drive, use iso craxtion to make an iso of the game and then try burning.
Dvd2xbox should patch the game when it copies it to your hard drive and if it doesn't, iso craxtion will.
If you don't have a larger hard drive, see if the game will fit on your original. You may have enough space to try this way. Hope this helps.
not sure about burning to dvd but i know nrl rugby league has long filenames that dont fit on the xbox hdd and the names of the files are encrypted in the xbe so unless u can decrypt the names to change them u wont get it to play from hdd

and it will work
