dvd2xbox dvd movie backups how to

I have a modded xbox and can backup games ok but when i backup dvd's i can't use them with media player - meaning i can't find or see the .vob files created by the dvd backup with dvd2xbox

I don't have the newest versions of media player or dvd2xbox ...

anyone know how I can do this ..

DVD movies are encrypted. DVD2xbox doesn't decrypt movies. So even if the vob did show up after copying, you will still get an "audio only" movie.

ok so i have to rip the dvd and then ftp to the xbox?

is that the only way or is there xbox dvd ripping software?

If I'm not mistaken, you have to rip it first then ftp to your xbox.
