hey guys..i have been trying to make cds from songs that i get (legally as i am use the code from McDonalds meals to get them for free) and when i try to make a cd with a few songs when i write the cd it works and all but when i pop it in to copy music to windows media player it doesn't say the song name it just says track 1, track 2 even tho the songs are named when i try to make the cd!! i have tried using burnatonce, nero, and easy cd creator..
any ideas on how to make the track 1's, 2's, ect,ect turn into the actual song names without going through the hassel of renaming ever song?

I think you do have to go in and rename them individually. Thats how I did mine anyway. If there is another way, I would be interested as well. It sure would cut back on time. ;)

yeah u do, u see the programs search in the internet for the whole cd info, not track by track, so eventually ur cd since its a mix, aint gonna be on the internet, therefor u dont get names.

Yop they're right. Windows Media Player can only get the WHOLE cd-info automatically, if you insert a cd from a shop, no mixed and backup ones!
(you can still add the info for backups manually)

btw: nice homepage Luciel!!! I saw the pics of you :p it's cool to see somebody from fileforums now I don't need to imagine!
Did my homepage work for you?? (if not I'll send you some pics if you're interrested you cannot imagine me, too ;) )

Edit the 'Albums' Track Listing in WMP. Very Easy to do.

Stick in your custom album, fire up WMP. You should see a link that reads 'Find Album Info' in the bottom left of the main WMP Window. Just follow the instructions that link gives.

I just re-read your first post...

If you do that Find Album Info thing, I'm afraid you might have to type in the name of the songs again. :(

audio cds don't have any additional information about Artist/Trackname. You can however include them by burning a cd with CD TEXT. Feurio is an excellent app for burning audio.

burnatonce has a thing where you can pick cd-text..i tried but i beleieve that is only when backing up cds.. i am talking about songs by them selfes..or as a group but not off the same cd(downloaded songs).
anyone?
