Hello,

I was just wondering if it is possible to rip the game "D2" onto CD-Rs? If so, how come it hasn't been done yet? I have a copy of the original I'd loan to someone willing to do the job.

I think there's a problem with this one : it's to huge to fit on a CD, or there are some LBA checks in it. I can't remember exactly.

The problem is that the audio can't be downsampled because the audio driver cannot play the audio at any rate lower than the default which was set by the developers.

If the audio could be downsampled without it being messes up then the game would fit a 80-min cd for each GD.

and what you thing about removing all audio voices and inserting subtitles, is it possibLe ?

Maybe the full game iso could be burned to DVD for chankast play in the near future.

The game is not bad, i still got it too =)
