USA PS2 game

Got an American game, and want to play it in the UK. When I try, it comes up with "please insert PS2 format disk".

Don't think so. Bought it brand new at Christmas. So no. Dad bought the disk in the USA not knowing the diff. Is there anything I can do or convert it to UK ??

You'll have to get a chip whatever to play it...

Just been browsing the mod chip sites. Found the version, a V9. One question. What do you think of this slide card option.??

Absolute SH*T! They wreck your PS2 after a few attempts and you only have problem after problem. You'll need a soldered modchip. Don't get a chip you have to 'swap' (use a boot disc with). If you have a V9, try the Magic V - they are very good.
