hi can any1 please tell me how 2 backup unreal 2 the awakening (live) as it is 2 big 2 fit on2 disk i have saved the files on my pc using flash fxp but i need 2 know wat files i can delete so it will fit on2 dvd disk thanx.

the total size is 4,913.12mb
i have tried taken out
fr,ge,it and es folders as i believe them 2 b language folders ie fr=french but it still aint small enough 2 fit on2 disk.thanx 4 your help.

The Files are .xmv...

Can i compress them anyway?

no u really cant do much with that
less than like takin a really small version and replacin taht over the other ones with the same name...
thatd kinda ruin the game for u though

well, you can delete the files:
dashupdate.xbe
downloader.xbe
update.xbe
and check the "media" folder; that is usually an xbox live folder for games that have downloader.xbe

And what is the file extension in the "music" folder?

ok, found a list of deleting's and stuff.

here are the folders you can delete:
/Snd/Files/DE/
/Snd/Files/ES/
/Snd/Files/FR/
/Snd/Files/IT/
/XMP/DE/
/XMP/ES/
/XMP/FR/
/XMP/IT/

movie you can replace with a 1mb blank movie file, or smaller files:
/Movies/atari_logo.xmv
/Movies/epic_logo.xmv
/Movies/legend_logo.xmv

The Whole Game is about 5.15 GB.

In the Media Folder there are no Special or Big Files...

Where can i get 1 MB Blank Movie Files?

You can also use a smaller .xmv and rename it to overwrite a larger .xmv too. Just be careful not to get rid of any that might hinder gameplay.

sorry i have deleted the files but if i remember correctly the folders r just language folders there r 4 or 5 files inside just find the folders i mentioned and put them somewhere else then try 2 burn it sorry i can't b more helpfull if u can't do it send me a im and i'll c wat else i can do.
