well i'm trying to back up my cd's to a single dvd
i'm trying to install the games
from the dvd but it does not go
after disk one it still asks for the next disc
trying to make all of the cd's run from a single dvd but i'm haveing no luck
what do i need to do to beable to compile
them all to a single dvd and and install
from the dvd

but have no luck
i tried this on the search
multi discs on dvdr nothing came up
please advise what i did wrong

well with some games, if u put each cd in a folder with the name of the label of the cd and so on with all cds and then put it on a dvd, i should think it would work

I can't give you a complete file list but I can give you some hits how to make FarCry to DVD ;).

There are 3 folders DirectX 9, Language and support. The rest of the files are in the root of the cd. Good luck ;)

well i've tried that i made a iso of the first disc then i added the rest of the files to it
but it still says insert next disc
there's something in the setup that looks for the next disc in the cd drive it's
not looking on the same disc
i assume i need to modify the setup or auto run or something to that affect
well please advise on what the dogs missing or doing wrong please

I doubt that the launcher is the problem, becuase it's a cd/dvd launcher. I also can't imagine that the company have speared extra time for a DVD releas. They most just have copied over files like a private person have are doing. well well good luck. But rember that it isn't the same like Ut2004. Ut2004 dvd you need to label map cd 2 cd3 etc for each cd. You don't need any maps on that just make shure that all cab files are in directly where setup.exe is, and launcher and all other files. Then the maps like I listed before... anyway good luck!

well there is something i'm missing
cause it will not do it
it will load from harddrive but as soon as i put all files onto the dvd it fails

i have a farcry data3.cab ( dvd file from farcry ) that is corupted

then take it bk to the shop and get them to replace it

well i'm still stumped on trying to compile it to a single dvd
here's what i know so far
i can copy all of the files from the cd's
and make it into a iso image
mount the image ( with alcohol 120 ) and it will install all of disc 1 then it prompts for disc 2.
ok i can rename the root of the dvd to
the label of disc 2 walla it will now install
all of disc 1 and 2 then it prompts me for
disc 3 well now i'm stumped
can anyone guide me on remapping the install setup so it will install all of the disc's
from a single dvd
well please advise the old dog on how to solve this mystery
