:D Hey everyone< I am getting ready to buy me a new computer but am a little confused about whether to get it with 1 cd/dvd writer or 2 cd/dvd writers, and also which writers is the best to get. If i go with a dell or gateway i dont think i have too much say in the matter. If someone can give me some advice it would really help me out a lot. Thanks for looking at my post, hope you can give some advice. (ikeoody@sigecom.net) If advice is given treat me like a "noob" in other words explain everything down to the why and the whynots.

you only need one dvd writer. Just make sure that it is multi-format (+/- R +/- RW) Then, make sure you have a dvd-rom. So you can backup your movies "on the fly"
if you want to backup games then you should consider getting a LiteON 52 CD-Burner. It's the best one for backing up games.
