If the game only comes out on DVD, you'll need some kind of DVD player.

Just visited the site and system req's mention CD-Rom drives.
I;m sure I've read somewhere that it will be getting released on cd in america/canada(that area anyway), and dvd in britain and across europe
tbh, best bet would be to email Ubi Soft and ask em!!
System Requirements:
Windows 98/Me/2000/XP (only); AMD Athlon 1 GHz or Pentium III 1 GHz; RAM: 256 MB; DirectX 9.0b-compatible graphics card from NVIDIA or ATI ; GeForce 3, 4, 4MX; NVIDIA-based cards must have ForceWare drivers 53.03; ATI Radeon 8500; ATI-based cards must have Catalyst drivers 3.9 Sound Card: DirectX 9.0b-compatible sound card DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0b CD-ROM / DVD-ROM: 24X CD-ROM
I'm guessing either DVD or CD Rom drive would do.
i guess we will have to wait till it comes out, dont want to buy a dvd if possible.
its just that i saw it on game group uk,that the game is dvd supported.
i think it comes out tomorrow in the uk.
As far as I am aware, only North America will be getting the CD Version of the Game (5 Discs)
