Help needed?

How do i use the lock/unlock fasility in evoX?
Got the latest EvoX 3935 + bios 4981

Do i need to allter the ini file? if so to what?

I ate all the pros.

When you go into admin tools, you don't see "lock harddisk" "Unlock harddisk"?

Ok done it, removed the # from the in file.

But now the hdd is lockedand wont unlock any idears?

I can’t remember offhand what version build Evox I found, or where I sold my soul to get it, but I did notice the INI file had the HD lock/Unlock commands #’ed out.

Simply find the command in the INI file and remove the # symbol from the beginning of that line.

By the way, I find the Evox for dummies guide on the site to be rude and arrogant! I did quite a bit of head scratching to get everything installed in this Xbox, and yes, I’ve edited INI files before. Not saying I didn’t appreciate the info but have a little bit of class!

Mine works - Hardive lock disabled, I donno!! Actually this is my old INI, I moved the section "launch menu" to the start so it would show up first.

Ok working now

Just changed the "f:\unlock.log" to "e:\unlock.log"
