problem with mame emulator

Hoy hoy there, recently I had my xbox modded and been messing around with some of the features in evo x, but recently I encountered a bit of a problem, where I tried to load some neo geo ROMs using MAMEoX_v0.74.1b emulator, and it turns out that it doesn’t seem to detect any of them. I just wanted to know if there is a special technique to installing neo geo or mame ROMs?

Some of the games I tried:

>Metal slug 1 2 and 3

>King of fighter 2000

[HANS_COBBO]

Use KawaX or Final Burn AlphaX for Neo Geo and CPS1&2 roms. Works a whole lot better. However, for those roms u might need a hacked version of those emu's to play those roms.

In additon, make sure u have the neo geo bios.
