Flashing Bios

Ok hopefully i can get some advice before i try to flash my bios...

I have found the x2 4981.06 bios and want to put it in my machine with a matrix chip and unknown bios via ftp..

Before i start i have found the old bios so do i put the new bios in the same file or create a new one and delete the old.

Other than that is there a really good tutorial for flashing the bios
which would be a help...

Just copy the new bios u have to a folder named BIOS on the c:\ then flash the chip via evox's flash bios option.

Yeah sorry can you explain the Bios Flash Otion for me.....

Sorry am new to this stuff..

I have found a folder in the c drive i think it is called bios.bin.... Are you saying create a new folder altogether or put the new bios in the same file on top of the old...

put the bios in that folder
in evox.. goto settings then flash bios
and flash the bios u uploaded there
