where can i get a new dvd-rom?

where can i get a new dvd drive for my xbox it keeps giving me read errors on ninja gaiden other games play fine and my xbox is unmodded

the game goes through the waring screen then it gives me the crap about something being wrong with the disc. it works sometimes

EDIT: just used my lens cleaner still doin the same thing

can you use this in a pc to read xbox games and do a normal copy or will it not work in a pc after its been modded?

only thing is modified so that it can work in the xbox
but it cant read xbox discs

The modded PC Samsungs reading DVDs at 16x is BS. Its got the XBox Samsung's firmware on it which only reads at 4x...

well guess it was a bad disc got a new copy and it works fine
