Help with Avalaunch please

I have got my Xecuter 2.3b lite installed and flashed with X2 4981.67 bios.

I also have Avalaunch on a dvd which boots up and I can access various things.

I need to somehow ftp to this using flashfxp and a crossover cable to my network card on the PC.

Can someone talk me through this please.

From the drop-down menu titled "Select Tutorial"

look for the one about ftp-ing "with a cross cable"
You do need to use EvoX tho for this.

I have been to his site, and yes it is very good for info.

I don't want to use evox though, I wanted to try this avalaunc out first.

I may consider evox later or Unleashed X

Never used Avalaunch my self. My guess is its set up more or less the same as EvoX. IP setting in an INI file and the FTP server runs as soon as Avalaunch launchs...

It is setup basically the same as evox. If you get evox to work, then avalaunch should work wit no probs. Just make sure dhcp is enabled since your using a crosscable.

I have is sorted now. I was putting in the wrong IP address. With avalaunch it show the IP in the bottom left corner of the screen.

I set the network up through my router in the end, thats better than crossover to network card.

I have now backedup a few games successfully:D
