When I try to copy Madden 2004 to the harddrive in RNM it gives me this error: Px Engine Error (Command:28 Sense:03 Asc:02 Ascq:00) reading from disk
I have checked the disk, it has no scratches. I have updated my engine to 507 or whatever the latest one is. And I have also tried with Alcohol 120%. However, I was able to burn Medal of Honor Rising Sun, so it does not look like the burner or the media is the problem. Im stumped, any ideas? Thanks in advance.

How do I make an image using Nero? Whenever I try it wants to copy the disks. I just want the image. Also, will version 6.0.0.0 work?
it shows how here :)

Ok ive tried to make the madden 2004 image with 3 programs: RNM, Nero, and Alcohol 120%. They all stop at about 31%. I guess it means something is wrong with it, even though it works in my ps2 and contains no scratches at all?
have to tryed other games cause if they work must mean u have a bad madden 04 game

If you get read errors on ANY PS2 game, dvd-rom or cd-rom, The disc is either dirty or damaged. No game has intentional errors. First try washing the disc with warm soapy water, if that dont work you mat have to copy from a different original. Just because you dont see scratched dont mean the game isn't in some way damaged.

Ive never washed a disk. Is that really safe? What soap do I use? And do I clean both sides, or just the side with data? Thanks for the help BG and Evo.
lol yeah, it's safe, although You dont want to soak the disc. use a little dish washing liquid on a soft cloth to clean the data side of the disc. Rinse clean and dry thoroughly before reinserting into PS2.

Assuming you have a DVD-ROM and a DVD±R/RW drive, it's wise to try to copy the game on your hard drive with the recorder.
Sometimes, if my DVD-ROM fails, my recorder succesfully manages to create the image.
Of course cleaning the disc at first is mandatory...
