nec dvd writer

got a Pioneer 107 but it will not write at 8x YET (no disc to do it) as anybody got the new nec 8x what do they think of it does it write at 8x (somebody says it will write at 8x on some 4x disc don't know myself if it does)

Um there are 8x dvd+r that can be bought online....

try the 8x dvd+r on the 107 and they don't work only at 4x it needs a firmware update which there is none that the min
