Flashed BIOS using Evox - XBOX Won't boot HELP !!!

Just updated my executer 2 lite BIOS with 4981.06 (cause I just got xbox live and wanted to stop it connecting by mistake with the chip on!) using the flash bios utility in Evox. Everything seemed to go fine but when I rebooted after the update my xbox flashes red and green.

It makes no difference if i switch the chip on or off - still the same no boot and FRAG. Also tried to boot with an older ISO CD-RW which is what i used to put evox on in the first place - doesn't work.

Do I have a way out of this or have I killed my executer 2 (or xbox?)

Tried looking elsewhere in the forums for an answer but can't seem to find one

did u get the bios from xbins? or some other site?

Thanks for the suggestions - BIOS from xbox-tribe.net - must be dodgy !!!

Is a programmer simple to use or is it easier just to buy another chip?

Also would removing the chip make my xbox go back to its original state??

yea programmers are pretty simple..
uhh
u gotta remove the chip from the box
goto xbins to get ur bios next time...
if nothin physically is harmed on the xbox, yea itll be fine and go back to its normal state, whichi s probably the case

If your XBox frags when the chip is off, some thing is wrong with yoru XBox not the chip. Check all your solder points.

can u turn the x2 off?
cuz i think its still tryin to load the corrupt bios
disable the d0 point maybe?

got mine from tribe....x2 lite and flashed with evox...everythings fine so it might be your xbox
