View Full Version : neverwinter nights multiplay
does anyone knkow of a way to setup a neverwinter nights multiplay lan game without having to actually go thru the main login part?? or is there anyway so it doesnt check to see if the same cd key is connecting to the game or already in the game?

Here is what used to work. Do full installs on every computer and crack them. Then to play lan together, disconnect your internet connection from your hub/router. This then prevents the game from doing a cd-key check to make sure people are not using the same cd-key over lan. Then click on multiplay, log int (it does nothing), then create a lan game and have people join.

When i do this and my friend tries to connect it tells him he server and client aren't the same version, but they. it won't let him connect.
Just try my method..it's so easy it isn't funny. No need to change any files or download any cracks...

Actually I just tried this method with my firewall..blocked the traffic.and yes, finally my friend can connect. I don't know why it wasn't working however when I pasted the info into the hosts file in \windows....., and did it that way.
One thing however is I had to send my friend my exe's so he could replace his with mine, as it was telling him the versions were wrong, even tho' we are both at 1.61
I remember trying the HOSTS method and never got it working that way..
But I don't know much about this sort of thing...
