never heard of them. i would get a pioneer dvd writer you wont go wrong with that.
I just got a Lite-on LDW-411S. It is a 4x dvd+-r burner. It also burns cd-r's at 40x. Comes with Sonic RNDX. Only $99.99. so far it has yet to burn a coaster.
Pioneer drives are my choice...

i think i will buy one tommarow only 99$ at walmart and if it dont work i can take it back :) unlike my 4x tobisha i bought it burned games but none of them would work in a ps2 it would freeze so i sent it back to the internet shop on the 6th of Jan and still have not got a refund and to top it off they charge 15% restocking fee cause the item works when they tested it Its BS i know not to buy somthing online unless i know its going to work.

I was going to get this from Dabs.com today for £84,but the 4 customer reviews there said it was crap at burning dvd-r's,only good for dvd+r's.
I really liked the look of it otherwise, how do you find it with cdr's and dvd-r's mate?Haven't got much cash for a dearer drive,so don't want to waste money on a "dog" if I can help it.
Also is it true that using a dvd drive to burn cd's more than dvd's is detrimental to it's lifespan?Doesn't make sense to me but I read it on a review site somewhere...
Thanks.

So far i have had absolutely no problems with this drive burning any media +/- or with cd-r's. You must update the firmware to vFSOH.
Thanks for the reply Warlock,I guess I'll get it then:)
