I own Alcohol 120% full latest version, and I select the PSX profile, but no matter what I do - it shows me SO many reading errors! I have a Lite-On 52/24x/52x CD-RW with latest firmware. Error skipping works, BUT the CD has 9999999 or something errors! Whats up with that?
The CD is NOT scratched, I beat the whole game my PS and it was fine, no errors, nothing!

So, how do I backup this game?

CDRWin isn't free but you can DL a demo from here (http://www.goldenhawk.com/)

CDRWin is a nice program to have because for one you can use it forever and not exactly have to pay for it. As long as you dont mind burning at 1x.

:D Latest CDRWIN version is not detect my optical drives at all...with latest ASPI installed.

I think its because I use nVidia SW IDE enhanced IDE drivers for my nForce 2 chipset...

OK, I got it to work - what settings do I use for a perfect copy?

One guide says to set the error recovery to ignore and another says to set it to AUTO...which one for Metal Gear Solid 1?

I've never had a problem using Clone CD - 4.2.0.2

Practically any burning program can backup a ps1 game. Ive used tons over the years and never had a game I couldnt back up.
