game burning problem

Hi, I have a a PS2 with a mod-chip, and an LG dvd-RW drive. A friend borrowed me a copy of JAK 2 ( on DVD ) and as I was trying to direct copy it with NERO 6 ( like I had done before ) it blockedz, with some kind of error. After that I tried to copy the contents of the DVD to the desktop to burn it to a DVD after, it said it couldn't copy a certain file and stopped after that. I'm a begginer on this things, so I'd like to get some help. Thanks in advance.

Since you dont OWN the game, you are not allowed to backup the game. (It is illegal to backup a game you do not own)

Therefore we cannot help you with your problem.
