I've narrowed down my modchips to the Xecutioner Lite, Pro, and X-bit.

The main confusion I'm having is with the bios flashing.

If I have an Xecutioner Lite, it comes with a bios already installed on it. Will this bios allow me to ftp to my X-box with a computer? Or will I still have to install the evoX dashboard?

If I do have to install the evoX dashboard from the question above, am I correct in saying that I am using the bios from the Xecutioner, but the dashboard from evoX?

If I do get a bios that works, is there any need for me to ever flash the bios again? In other words, if it works once, will there ever be a need to change it?

And finally, what modchip do you reccomend out of the three I have narrowed down?

Thanks,
Derek

P.S. I'll also be wanting to use Xbox live every once in a while.

Firstly, i think yo umean x-ecuter lol.

Anyways, the chip comes preflashed with user made bios, meaning it does not play retail games, or any xbox realted applications. You will have to reflash another set of bios on the chip to play anything. (just put the bios you want 512k in size depending on your chip, renamed to "bios.bin" on a cd-rw. Pop the disk in the xbox and let it do its thing).

Evolution x needs to be installed or ran off a cd to enable an ftp connection.

Yes, that is correct.

Lastly, i recommend the "x-ecuter 2.3 lite", or just the 2.2 lite if it is compatable with your xbox.
