Xbox Mod Questions

Im thinking about getting an xbox mod. I have decided on the chameleon. I read that you need a dash, what is that ? I know what the bios are, and I know where to get them but I dont know what a dash is. Also, could someone walk me through copying xbox games ? I know you have to have evo-x and link your x-box with your pc, but I dont understand what evo-x is and how to do all of this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

EvoX is the dashboard most people talk about.
JUst replaces MS Dash.
