Cd64 is an external unit that plugs into the bottom of your Nintendo64 unit. The CD64 is used to transfer your old N64 games into files then you are able to burn your existing games you own onto a cd-r and then in return play them on the cd64 with the cd rom included in the unit. It is an easy way to backup your N64 games, like me I have 50+ games, and store them onto 1 cd-r and play them without having to keep changing cartages.

I don't love it enough to fork over $300 dollars, ... I don't even love it enough to fork over $50. For $300 I can get a brand new xbox modded with hd.

I just don't see the point in that, since there isn't anymore games coming out for N64 and the game out already are worth pennies.

AXmichigan

exactly
the games are worth pennies, materially
but theyre still alotta great games
who noes
some people would buy it just to have it
