ive been working on installing my xecuter 2.2 lite for a while. ive been using the stickies and other threads to answer all my questions. there is truely a blistering amount of info on this forum. major props to all the mods, and regulars here that answer some of the same ?'s over and over. that having been said...

when connected to to the xbox via FTP, i cannot transfer any files to my F drive. i look at F with xboxcommander and it reflects 0 free. also says 0 for the F drive in evox system utils. all i have added to the HD is evox to C/, super nintendo emu, nintendo emu, and xboxcommander into E/apps. there are no files in the F drive.

is there is a way to look at, or change the partition settings for dive F? any help will be greatly appreciated. let me know what other info i can provide.

xbox 1.0
xecuter 2.2 lite, pogo pin
phillips drive

i suggest reformattting the entire hdd as if it were a new one
with a boot cd with modified evox
with c and e drives already backed up

Out of curiosity have you got a bigger HD installed i.e. 120Gb, as F:\ partition is only used for bigger drives.

yah, your right. The f drive is just what gets filled if you have an upgraded hdd (i won't go into detail about a possible "g" drive for 250gb+ drives).

i read that i was wrong about needing to use the /F partition before i formatted the drive. ill be putting in a large drive in the next couple of weeks, so im going to leave the stock drive as-is. i had 2 bad ISO's that i was testing with that lead me to believe that i needed to be using /F. i got a good backup and everything is fine now. thanks for the replies, and sorry about the confusion :D

Just to let you know I just purchased a 120gig Seagate HDD from Best Buy for $130. But it had a $70 mail in rebate. Dude you cant beat that. Go there NOW!

And btw, I now have hella space on my F drive. :p
