hi folks....

have a question:

i read in many forums about that people having trouble to make a real 1to1 copy..

with my nec 1100 dvd burner i am able to burn 1to1 copys.
it is possible with 99% of the new games like call o D, vice city,fifa04,nhl04,max p 2,halo... there are saveDisc 2-2.9 and new securom protections..

i have burned all this with the ,i think so, for me the best settings which i saw in the backuphints here in the GC... and cloneCD 4... i have no poblems with that....sure i need a no cd after installing and it takes sometimes (saveDisc) a long time to write to an image, but it really works...need no emulator tools like deamon.....

 my qustion is ....why are having so much people such asskicking trouble to make an 1to1 copy ???

what is the problem, cause some older cd burner can not handle raw-dao modes, efm and other "new" features ??
you know i am new in the world of burning,,i do that **** for a few months...

tell me what is required to make a workin copy of a new game????show me some basics folks.....................

A drive which can Read/Write RAW-DAO-96 (Read/Write the Data Subchannel) and which can correct EFM Encoding. Typically, these types of drives come from vendors such as Plextor and Lite-On.

Older drives cannot obtain or place Subchannel data to/from the disc and this is why they have trouble backing up discs using a 1:1 copying piece of software.

Hope this helps...
