I'm tring to use the image editor to add MOD files to the GTA3.IMG file for Vice city but I get an access denied error message every time I try. What do I need to do to add the files?

I'm using Win XP for an OS.

Edit: "OT:" before your header in this topic. Before a moderator see this. They are very hard on offtopic questions. Like this is.

To help you, you need to write if you have check if it's write protected!

I'm not sure what you tried to say there, but what do I write if you have check if it's write protected?

The mad-swede-to-english translator gives us this : "If I am to help you, you must first tell me if you checked whether the file GTA3.IMG is write-protected (read only)". I think that's what he's trying to say anyway :D

You can check this attribute by rightclicking on the file in windows explorer and selecting "properties".

PS Krondike you remind me more and more of the swedish chef in the Muppet Show. :D

Hehehe....muppet show...hahaha...oh dear...:p

Anyway yes I mean Read Only file.

Write in swedish is = skriv and protection is = skydd and the swedish word is "skriv skydd" so I tranlate it to write protection.

To explain what the meaning of "read only" mean in Swedish. Read only is that you can anly read, and do nothing else. Think about a sign, over a bookcase, that says "read only" that's mean you can't wipe you as with pages from the book, you can't trash the book you can't write on the pages of the book. You can only read the book. That's was read only means in Sweden, and I think the same for English. But why don't it label write protection, english is wierd in some cases....:p
