View Full Version : Problems with starting Worms 3D

Hi guys!
I hope you can help me, because if you don't I really don't know waht to do. :(
I installed the game, and it was all ok. I substitued the original worms3d.exe and the original launcher.exe with the crached ones, but when I try to start the game, I see a black screen and then I go back to desktop. Anyone with the same problem?
What is? In there a patch which can correct this problem?

These are the setting of my cpu:

Pentium 4 CPU 1.80 GHz
OS: Windows XP Professional
Video: NVIDIA GE Force 3 (with the newest drivers)
RAM 512

Think the cracked .exe only works in windowed mode... But iunno how to, I can try it with the crack... but I don't have it :(

Same problem here, really annoying.
xp2000 win2kpro, ti4200, newest everything.

had the same thing, then i ran the launcher, worked then, if you run the exe from the \bin dir, it'll crash, if you use the launcher to launch it all works, at least it did here

Use latest patch and crack.

Update graphic card drivers.

Graphic Drivers are the newest for my GeForce 3.
But I can't find the patch.

Absolutely not,
I use 42.53 now, 52.16 is actually worse. Then the whole pc locks up.

I changed my driver settings for best performance instead of quality(i use the 44.03_win2kxp_international.exe for nvidea chipset)

hmm, I only use a cracked worms3d.exe. launcher.exe is still original and get no crashes (have Geforce 2 TI)

What processor/os do u use.

pentium 3 800 overclocked to 1080
win 2k + sp4
Geforce 2 TI with 30.82 drivers

and tippeX is right. _ALWAYS and ONLY_ use the launcher.exe!

edit: w3d crashes while playing online :mad:

It may well be beacause you have a P3 that can start the game.

Seems like only AMD+Nvidia computers crash.
