which dvd burner should I get to back up my games:

1.Pioneer DVR-106D/A06U 4xDVD+/-RW OEM
2.Sony DVD±RW/CD-RW 4X4X24X10X40 Beige OEM

they are both same price, but I want to get the one that will be more compatible to play my backed up games and which media.

oem? U buying from ebay or something?

Sony I believe. Although, both though drives burn eqaully (speed and +/-). Well, the sony burns cd's and 40x and dvd's at 4x. I don't even see a speed for cd's on the pioneer drive.

Anyways, if money is not an issue, I suggest you wait until the dvd-r9 (8.4gb) burners coming out. Im not sure if older burners will support it, or if there will be firmware upgrades.
