Tiger Woods 2k4 Backup Problems

Hi i have the German version of Tiger Woods 2k4 and cant make a Backup of it.

I id it twice with nero but didnt work,do i have to use rewitables or another program?

No. Build a global image(.gi) and then burn it.

I have the very same problem with Tiger Woods 4.

I had a manual how to use Prassi PrimoDVD to burn PS2-DVDs but it does not recognize my Mat****a UJ810.

So I used RecordNow 4.50 to build a gi.

But it builds 3 gis!
TW4.gi with 2kb (That should be the only one!)
TW4(11).gi with appr.2GB
TW4(21).gi with appr. 1.3 GB

When I burn this, it looks OK anyway.

But it comes out as Error occured (0 good disc 1 bad disc) or something like this!

Is there a manual for RecordNow or is there anything I should know?

Besides: I switched the autoplay off in the registry (XP Home), because it still autoplayed even with the autoplayguard turned on.
Since I installed the Prassi and Stomp programs, Nero isn't working very properly.

Please don't tell "uninstall everything and only use RecordNow4.5" but tell me if You (anybody) actually succeeded in burning Tiger Woods 4.
If so, please give me/us as much information about Your hardware and Software (3 gis OK??) and the settings as You feel OK to post for helping.
I already killed three DVD-Rs!

Hi

Make sure you dvd writer is set to master.Use some better media it usial is that.Makesure the disk isint scratched as it can fail due to that

Yes, I think it could be the media! I used maxell dvd-r and i will buy verbatim tomorrow.
I killed 2 more dvd-r discs (no error but success at writing- but stops in PS2 at the playstation2-label or even before (browser....reading data.....error).

DVD-Recorder UJ810 is master, because it is the only one in the Notebook (this is what You meant??).

But please tell me if the thing with the 3 gi-files is normal or not.

My burner also burns DVD-RW and even DVD-RAM (out of their boxes) but I am quite sure, that this isn't even worth a try - my PS2 will never read these formats (Please tell me if I'm wrong)

OK- THANKS A LOT for any comments, now I desperately hope it is only the media (some month ago I burned on cheap DVD-R, and I could load this disc 4 times, and today it wouldn't take this one any more- but after 20 starts it did - so I think cheap media is a thing of good luck)

oh yeah the 3 .gi is normal. Good hope it works out for ya. i would say getter a better writer like a pioneer 106 and i will work trust me.

Uninstall Prassi and install RecordNow MAX. Get some Verbatim DVD-R and follow the tutorials for the program here. (http://www.mjpaul.freeserve.co.uk)

I think i can solve the Problem its like i said forNHL 2004 after i did a Defrag i could burn it too ;)
