Well I bought my 120 gb HD to replace, but I don't want to open it up and try replacing the HD because from the tutorials I see, a modded xbox is always in the requirements list. Is there any way I can get around the requirement of a modded xbox HD or am I going to have to drive back to Best Buy :(.

Not gonna happen. What are you going to do with a 120G drive on a stock Xbox anyway?
