problem with recordnow max.......

i just downloaded recordnow max & having a prob. it recognizes my dvd rom & cant find my DVD writer. i went & got all the updates & nothing changed. still couldnt recognize it. i worked on it for a couple hours today with no luck. i have an HP 300n. anybody know anything i could try or do to get this to werk. i read through the sticky of the tutorial, & got the global image saved, now all i have to do is burn it.

i did try that, i found it in another post & had no luck. i followed everything to the exact words & had no luck. the program itself has its own update but that seems to not work either. anybody else got any other ideas or am i SOL?

Are you using RecordNow Max 4.50 and is your burner set as master?

i believe its an older version, its 3.0. & how do you tell if its set as master or slave? i know its an older version, didnt have the $$ to get the new one so i borrowed it from a friend.

You will likely just need 4.50. Download this (http://downloads.stompinc.com/support/stprnm450v.exe) file and it will upgrade you from 3.x to 4.50.

YOU DA MAN BIGHAP. thanx man, it will definitly work. i downloaded the update at school, brought it home on a zip disk & bada boom bada bing im in business. started the prog a few min ago & both my drives are recognized. SWEET. gotta thank u again for the help.
