I have about 80 CDR backups of DC games. I want to make sure my 4 year old doesn't get his hands on them. How can I make a copy of these Backups? I used CloneCD, but it didn't work. Info looks like its there, but my DC just sits there whirring like it can't find anything. I need to make Backups to protect these guys. Please help. I also noticed that all my Backups are blue backed Verbatim CDR's. Does this matter? I'm trying to use Gold backed TDK's. I got these from a pal, that explains my ignorance. Thanks...

You can use Disc Juggler 2.0. You can use the copy CD to CD option, but it is recommended that you create a image on it on you hard drive first and then copy from that. Also it is recommended that you use a slow burning rate as you will have a much higher success rate. A DC self booting backup is not like a regular CD. That is why DJ 2.0 is used, because it can handle that data format. Using fast burning rates may cause you to create more coasters than successes. The original image files are always forced to burn at 1x.

You can try Disc Juggler 3.0 as it is much easier to obtain, but your friend should have 2.0 if they were made by him. I doubt 3.0 will work. The color of the disc has nothing to do with it. If you want more information about the different types of dyes visit
