Hi!

I triet to make backup of my Operation Flashpoint and Gold Upgrade but with no luck. OFP is protected with SafediscV2 and I know there is appz called PlayBackup and so on, but I would like to have a 1-to-1 copy, so I don't have to run any extra programs to play. I have also read that Plexwriter 16/10/40A with firmware below 1.05 is cabaple to write SafediscV2 cds. My Plexwriter has firmware v1.02 so it shouldn't be a problem(?). Programs that I have triet are CloneCD v3.1.1.0 and BlindWriteSuite v1.1.0.3. With CloneCD I get a kind a working CD (it can be readed, but OFP doesn't recognice it orginal). With BlindRead/Write I didn't even managed to get a readable CD.

So, is there program which can burn SafediscV2 CDs with Plexwriter 16/10/40A?

Try the newest versions of CloneCD or Blindwrite!
Both come with an option which could help you -> amplify weak sectors ... check it out!
Newer SafeDisc2 versions contain an ATIP check, so DONīT play from your writer! Or use CloneCDs tray -> hide CD-R media option ...

don't forget to check out for any new versions of the programs you are using because this way you can lose many useful features of the program's capabilities.

Thanx a lot!

I just noticed that here is a general topic for safedisc V2 and I readed it too. I thought too (and hope) that a newer version of CloneCD would help.

Thanx again.
