Help needed with NERO

I am trying to copy the sims using a Plextor 24/10/40A and Nero 5.5. OS Windows XP Home.
Recorded image to HD using the settings...
Illegal TOC activated
In data track: for read errors, continue copy activated for mode 1 and 2. read RAW data and write data uncorrected.
In audio track: read audio data with sub channel and ignore read error set.
burn speed 1x
Nero says copied OK but game does not play on either DVD player or Writer.
comparing original and copy in explorer>properties both appear to be identical (same amounts of data)
What am I doing wrong? what to do next?

try using clone cd ,this is much easier!!!!

Hi,
The Sims uses SafeDisc 1 protection. Nero will have problems with this.
U need to get cloneCD & ClonyXL.
Search for previous posts on this as I have posted it many times now.

Nero does make a backup of the same size. however, since nero doesn't know how to deal with the bad sectors that safedisc has, the burner puts null code in its place, resulting in the same amount of data being written, but since the protection is not copied, the cd won't function.

In the future, use nero for audio. thats it.
