Plextor 24/10/40 Firmware V 1.02 is the best of all for now, right?

I mean.... making backup Protection CD and able to play in all CDRom, isn't it?

Plez post Pros and Cons for this drive plez...

I'm about to upgrade so had a look around...Couldnt decide whether to go for the Plex 24x or LiteOn 24x
My mate has just bought the Plex, and still had trouble backing up the latest protected Audio CDs. Based on this evidence (and a review on cdrinfo - which may have had outof date f/w ??) I plumped for the LiteOn. The other reason being if we each had a different writer then surely ONE of them would work ??
I'll let you know what I find, when it turns up...

Was your friend's Px24 firmware upgraded to version 1.02 (factory firmware is 1.0) because 1.0 is no good for copying...
