What Modchip should I get for my ps2

I was wonder if anyone can help me
I got a 30002 model PS2 and i dunno what chip to get..here in australia we can get magic 3.0 and 3.5 (i know it's a clone) or messiah 2...which one is best for me

and Is it true there was a faulty batch of messiah 2's that came to australia and also i heard from some installer that the magic mod chips will stop spining if the game stalls and the messiah chip will keep spinning...is that true

Never heard of a bad batch or the spinny thing, but Messiah 2 is easily the best, that is if it is a real one....

Is there any chance of stickying a thread that says messiah 2 is the best chip to get, seems to be asked an awful lot.
