i downloaded this program. I've heard that it can remove the protection from an image file so you can play with the backup without using unsafedisc.

Is this true? How do I use it?

Can I fix the image of nhl 2002 using clone cd so i can play with the backup without using unsafedisc or daemon tools?

Sorry my english isn't good but you can made a copy from the first CD with the program how calls Insektor.
You must prepaire the Image datei with them , than you can burn the game
on cd.
I can send the program to you when you like it.

BetaBlocker will alter certain bytes patterns of a cloneCD image file.
There is no sure fire way of knowing whether it will work with your burner.

Your best bet is to give it a go, and copy to a cdrw. Try and run from the copy, and if it works, you're doing well!!

Personally, I have a plex 8432 and a couple of yammies and haven't produced a working copy with betablocker.

By the way, if anyone wants the english version, or a crack to change your german version to english, then mail me.

It won't remove the protection, it fixes it if your burner can't read the "weak" sectors correctly....

I have a Mitsumi 4804TE & have used BetaBlocker to make perfect working copies of Red Alert 2, Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge, Hostile Waters, Operation Flashpoint, Black & White, Kohan .....

Thats of the top of my head without going through my game list ...
