SavediscV2-burning or cracking

I know that cracking Games with SavediscV2 is very Hardware dependent.Plz tell me your experiences with SavediscV2 and if ya done it to burn a cd with SavediscV2 tell me your Hardware Mine is: Mainboard Asus A7-V/133 256MB Ram [133]
2x Maxtor 20 GB 7200rpm HDD
Burner: im not 100% shure I only know that its a CD/R RW burner with 8X 4x 32x speed. i forgotten the brand name

OKay matey.

Firstly, when we say hardware dependant, we mean the burner itself. There is no evidence that your motherboard or pc setup makes any difference.
Secondly, it isn't just a burner's compatibility with CloneCD in RAW DAO mode that is important. It must also do correct EFM encoding to ensure a succesful safedisc2 burn. But, without knowing your burner make and model it is impossible to say.

here you will see the make and model of your drive

Now go to clonecd's website (####://www.elaborate-bytes.com) and look in the supported hardware section. If your drive has a check in the EFM column, then sd2 can be written by your drive.
As for what drives can burn sd2, check these listings and you'll see.

here's the problem theres just a ATAPI CD-R/RW 8X4X32X in the device manager nothing more... the brand is not noticed there
but my burner works without problems and there are no driver issues
(actually i think i never needed drivers for my writer)

Hi there,
Cd-Rom drives generally don't require drivers unless working in dos.
Maybe the best way to get the make is to switch off the pc & slide the drive out from the bay.
The make & model should be on a sticker on the top of the drive.
Most 8x4x32 drives were Samsung or Goldstar in pre-built pc's.

all acer-drives in the clonecd supported drives category are able to make a "Correct EFM encoding of regular bit patterns" is this the feature which is needed to copy savedisc2 cds?

Yep, if it is ACER, then it can do sd2 correctly.

And if you look at my earlier post, I tell you twice that correct EFM encoding is what sd2 is dependant upon.
