I have a Yamaha 2100E and my CDR is unable to make a 1 to 1 copy of this safediscv2. With my almost perfect backup I'm able to install the game and then use unsafedisc to fix the game files so i can play the game withou the cd.

I need programs that will let me extract image file to my hard drive so i can modify the files in it and then build the image again so i can burn it.

My question is how can I delete or modify files in my image file so i can burn a backup that will work like a perfect 1 to 1 copy of safediscv2?

p.s: i'm running windows xp. Cdrwin 4.0a is not compatible with my system.

Peace.

Which program are you using to make a backup?

I've tried Discjuggler, Blindread, Nero, and CloneCD. When i try to play with the backup if asks me to enter the original cd.

As i can see you want to modify a cd image. This is quite easy with winimage for example. You can also do an iso image file with clone cd or even other cd-r backup program. This very useful program will open this image and will let you to try around to remove the original exe. Perhaps, there's a small trouble with this:You can modify and remove any file of the iso so that file matchs in size with original's one. This is a problem in certain cd's like delta force 3(that has sfv2 & dummy files). The crack doesn´t fit on the toc contens of the cd and it will not let you to proceed.Know a few programs like you want but all of them have this limitation.(For aztecas for example this program runs perfectly: the crack is equal in size that original!)If you find a program that will let you please warn me!
