i have just downloaded Evolution x. I burned it to a cd (i dont hav a dvd writer) and when i put the disc in it comes up with the disc cannot be recognised.

i have also heard that you can change soething on the disc to make it run from cd and not have to put it on your hard drive. is this true and if it is what do i change.

so why does it not read thew cd and what do i change?

Did you burn it to a Cd-r or a Cdr-w?

It's best to put it on a cd-rw since the Xbox can't read cd-r's. Also, how did you create the disc, e.g. ISO or Data Burn method. Normally it's also a good idea to add a dummy file to the EvoX CD that your making, so that it will read a bit better in the Xbox. Thats my opinion anyway.

yea most xboxs dont read cd-rs
they read cd-rws and dvds although
