I'm having trouble getting my ADX files to sound right when I convert them from waves. They have a lot of distortion. I've tried changing the volume of the waves before I convert them, but it hasn't helped.
Most of the music that I'm using is 128bit mp3 converted to wave files, then I convert them to ADX.
Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
-Ex

If you are using wav2adx you will most likely get that distortion. There is another tool called "adxencd" which works quite well. If you can't find it, email me (hacker3nine********com) and I 'll send it too you.
Heh, Excalibur007, your'e right. Wav2ADX sucks!!!
Well, at least it has a GUI. I hope adxencd has a GUI.
Hi Excalibur007 it me BrianRus aka VoVak.
Look this page (http:\\home.interlink.or.jp\~lcm\Lib\room1.html) i find this page form here (http:\\internetconvoy.com\downsample.htm) nice tutorial :)
you can find_ CinePack use for convert adx in wav.
PS: How i help you with PVR.
How do you make the ADX files you convert have a loop? As in how do you make them repeat continuously? I have tried what the website said, but Adxencd keeps on asking me to insert the end loop. I don't know ho to determine that.

Heres how to loop adx files. Open adxencd and convert your wav file to adx. Pay attention to the Input audio sample number that it gives you. Once the file is converted to adx, run the following command (Without the "<" and ">" of course):
adxencd <wave file> -lps0 -lpe<Input audio sample number>
after that's done use any adx player on your PC and see if it loops.
